DWDM Lviv – Warsaw

RETN has launched a new DWDM line with a length of 570 km on the direction Lviv – Warsaw. The new line has been built with the help of new generation Infinera DTN ILS2.


DWDM upgrade

RETN has upgraded its pan-European DWDM ring increasing its capacity by 18%. The end-to-end capacity has been equalled 700 Gbps on the southern direction Moscow – Kiev and 600 Gbps on the northern direction Moscow – Stockholm – Frankfurt. The bandwidth of the DWDM line Moscow – Voronezh has been levelled to 1 Tbps.


PoP in Saratov

RETN has launched DWDM and IP PoPs in Saratov and started testing the new part of its DWDM network on the direction Voronezh – Saratov. The new line is 500 km long and has a bandwidth of 100 Gbps (10×10 GE).
