RETN, an international network service provider, announced today the upgrade of its reseller port to 100GE at The London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the leading international IXPs.

RETN signed LINX Channel Partner agreement in 2014, enabling them to resell remote peering service over VLANs to reach the largest density of prefixes (internet routes) in the world at LINX.

Being a member of LINX ConneXions programme RETN acts as a single point of contact for the distant clients and offers direct access to LINX across its network. Thereby RETN ensures that the customers get a seamless end-to-end connectivity solution at any RETN PoP, and undertakes operational and qualitative level of control over customer’s traffic.

“We are excited to be taking our relationship with LINX to the next level”, explained Tony O’Sullivan, Managing Director of RETN Ltd. “Upgrading our peering port to100GE is an important development for us and cements LINX’s long standing reputation as one of the world’s leading carrier neutral peering points. LINX is ideally placed in London to establish cross continental peering relationships. Our 100GE port will now allow us to provide large bandwidth connections for our Remote Peering clients worldwide”.
