BGP peer filter policy InboundRETN accepts any registered prefixes from our peers and customers. Prefix-limit are configured to the whole BGP group for peer on Public Internet Exchanges (IXP). Prefix-limit for private peers are configured separately, based on the amount of prefixes adding a delta for safety.
Outbound IPV4 prefixes longer than /24 will not be announced externally and will only be visible within RETN Network. IPV6 prefixes longer than /48 will not be announced externally and will only be visible within RETN Network. RETN is not accepting so-called private IP address blocks (RFC 1918) from our customers or peer, and do not advertise them to any network RETN is interconnected with.
Route Dampening RETN AS9002 do use Route Dampening DETAILS NEEDED Bogon ASN Filter Policy MEDs Policy RETN accept MEDs from customers, but requires configuration changes in order to be honoured. Please request this to your Account Representative or RETN Support.
