RETN has extended its DWDM network into South of Russia and has started testing a new part of the network Voronezh – Kamesk-Shaktinsky – Rostov-on-Don. The capacity of the deployed Infinera equipment – 100 Gbps (10×10 GE) for a start. New points of access are organised in Kamesk-Shaktinsky (1 Retranslyatsyonnaya str) and Rostov-on-Don (54, Myasnikova str.). The length of the new DWDM line is 705 km.
