Senior Accountant, RETN GmbH

To support the uninterrupted growth of our business in Germany we are searching for a motivated candidate to fill the position of in-house senior accountant. This person will be playing an important role in RETN GmbH team, joining 10 enthusiastic local employees.

Job Summary

As a senior accountant, you will handle a full spectrum of Financial, Tax, Payroll & Accounting tasks as well as will be responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations of RETN GmbH.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions;
• Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing in IFRS and in accordance with the Group instructions;
• Maintain Fixed assets register;
• Preparation of management accounts and reports for Group reporting purposes (P&L, Balance sheet, Cash flow statement, Fixed assets movements);
• Payroll on monthly basis (staff number – 10 employees);
• Preparation and filling all VAT, Corporation and Payroll Tax returns;
• Preparation of analytical reviews of financial statements;
• Preparation of full set of transformation adjustments from local accounting to IFRS;
• Tracking revenue and expenses, cash flow planning, analysis against planned budget;
• Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations;
• Communication with the Group accountant external auditor, preparation of auditing reports;
• Additional duties/projects as assigned by management.

Qualification and Experience

• A degree in Accounting;
• Relevant accounting experience (preferably in multi-national company), a least 5 years working in Germany;
• Must have solid experience on mentioned above accounting activities and managing reporting;
• CPA/ ACCA would be a big advantage;
• Sound knowledge of German tax reporting requirements;
• Must have knowledge of current tax and statutory requirements;
• Knowledge of Microsoft office;
• Prior experience with Sage would be advantage;
• Good command of spoken and written English;
• Strong organisational skills, analytic skills, attention to details.

Junior NOC Engineer in Riga, RETN Baltic SIA

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Monitoring and maintaining the RETN network infrastructure;
• Handling customer enquiries, providing technical support and troubleshooting;
• Dealing with ongoing technical issues and escalating;
• Statistics data processing.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Undergraduate or graduate degree (work experience is not required);
• Understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, Ethernet technologies, IP protocol;
• Knowledge of network equipment such as hub, router, switch;
• Understanding of STP, RIP, OSPF, protocols, DNS system, experience in dealing with *nix-systems will be an advantage;
• Intermediate level of English, Russian and Latvian , technical language skills are preferred;
• Strong motivation for career development in this professional field is essential.

International telecoms company looking for an Enterprise Account Manager based in Singapore to join its growing Asia Pacific team. This is a full time position. The successful candidate will become part of a small, friendly team reporting into our Hong Kong office.

The Role:

• Lead generation and locating new clients;
• Cold calls, presentations, business correspondence;
• Meet and exceed revenue and bookings targets;
• Build, develop and maintain relationships with existing or potential customers, typically focusing on complex sales of solutions or services over longer sales cycles in order to maximise revenue and profit;
• Lead the creation and execution of account development plans for key accounts;
• Assists in deal qualification, proposal, closure.

What you will need to succeed:

• Minimum of 2 years sales experience;

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Transport Network monitoring;
• Receiving and processing customer enquiries regarding the operability of services provided;
• Resolving ongoing technical issues or escalating them to related engineer;
• Records management, collection and collation of statistical data.

Skills and Qualifications required:

• Candidates with similar job experience of six months and more will be a priority;
• Undergraduate or graduate candidates are preferred;
• Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP protocol suite, Ethernet technologies, IP protocol;
