RETN Wins Tech Capital Digital Infrastructure Action Award for Advancing Network Resilience

In response to disruptions like the 2024 Red Sea cable cuts, which impacted up to 70% of traffic between Europe and Asia, RETN introduced greater fiber path diversity, integrated terrestrial and subsea networks, and revised its network design principles. Meanwhile, in Ukraine, RETN has maintained uninterrupted international traffic despite missile strikes and power outages, and in early 2025, launched a DDoS scrubbing centre in Kyiv to provide free cybersecurity protection to local businesses. In some regions, it has become clear that three or four routes are no longer sufficient - six or more are required for greater resilience.
