RETN and BBIX Expand Partnership to Enhance Connectivity Offering in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore

(“BBIX”), a major Internet Exchange (“IX”) provider in Asia. Building on their successful collaboration in Japan, where RETN has been an official reseller of BBIX services, the partnership now extends to include key markets in Hong Kong and Singapore, further enhancing RETN's interconnection across Asia and delivering improved connectivity for its customers.

This expansion offers RETN customers enhanced peering opportunities, enabling direct traffic exchange with a diverse range of networks in Japan, Hong Kong, and Singapore. It reflects the rising demand from global enterprises for advanced connectivity solutions to support their operations in Asia’s fast-evolving digital economies. Notably, this initiative allows enterprises to enter these markets without the need for heavy investments in local infrastructure.

As part of this strengthened collaboration, RETN introduces its innovative Flex IX solution, now available across BBIX locations in Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Flex IX combines Remote IX access and IP Transit into a single, flexible offering, enabling customers to commit bandwidth on a single port while optimizing resource utilization. This streamlined solution ensures efficient bandwidth management and seamless connectivity across these key regions.
