RETN’s Vision for Asia’s Connectivity Landscape and Key Growth Markets

Hong Kong, Manila, Singapore, Taipei, and Jakarta are fast-growing hubs for broad-based connectivity. This presents significant opportunities for growth and innovation, particularly as demand for high-quality services continues to rise according to TeleGeography's market analysis “How Data Gravity is Shaping Top Connectivity Markets” in Q2 2025. RETN concurs with the report's emphasis on the critical role of interconnectivity in driving digital transformation, making these cities essential for businesses expanding in Asia and aligning with our commitment to investing in infrastructure.

We are observing a trend of expansion fueled by market demand and the opportunities emerging in Southeast Asia. Developing countries in the region are prioritizing technological advancements in telecommunications, demonstrating immense potential and a growing need for capacity to interconnect with others.

In line with this trend, RETN has established over 20 Points of Presence (PoPs) across Asia, enhancing our network's reach and reliability. We are actively increasing our core backbone network capacity in response to our customers' demands. This year, we plan to launch additional capacity between Hong Kong and Singapore, with AAE-1 capacity successfully activated, as well as expanding capacity between the Philippines and other cities.

Our network now spans over 140,000 km, featuring more than 970 PoPs in 44 countries, which enhances connectivity for ISPs, data centers, and enterprises. Furthermore, we are expanding our footprint with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan, while enhancing our Remote IX services in Japan through our partnerships with JPNAP and JPIX.

Insights from TeleGeography's article also indicate that the expansion of cloud infrastructure is fostering new connectivity growth in Asia. RETN Cloud Connect services provide dedicated private connections to major cloud providers, saving time and investments with reliable circuits of up to 100G.

Ultimately, the recognition of these cities in Asia as connectivity hubs aligns perfectly with our mission to deliver high-quality services, ensuring we remain at the forefront of the telecommunications landscape in the region.
