RETN has launched a new DWDM line with a length of 642 km in the Ukraine on the direction Uman – Lviv. The new line has been built with the help of new generation Infinera ILS2, whose capacity reaches 1,6 Tbps. The new DWDM has made RETN`s pan-European DWDM ring completely protected in the Ukraine, increasing the length of the Ukrainian DWDM backbone up to 5463 km. The total length of RETN`s DWDM network has reached 18940 km.
