New high-capacity route to Budapest
Budapest is now connected to Western Europe by two separate high-capacity routes. In addition to existing route to Austria RETN has recently deployed the second DWDM route between Budapest (BIX) and Brno providing 19.2 Tbps of additional bandwidth capacity, and RTT of just 4,9 ms.
“We are glad to offer our customers redundant links into the region to support their high demand in IP/MPLS and L1 based services,” comments Daniel Jasinski, Managing Director at RETN in Central & Eastern Europe.
