Catixs specialises in IT services, providing a comprehensive range of solutions, including cloud servers, IP Transit, DCI interconnection lines, submarine cable transmission, DIA, local point-to-point lines, and overseas native IP. Leveraging premium network nodes and native IP resources in Europe, Catixs aims to deliver low-latency, high-stability network services tailored for clients looking to expand into the European market.

Challenge

Despite its strengths, Catixs faced several significant challenges. There was a shortage of high-quality overseas resources coupled with high operational costs, making it essential to reduce expenses while ensuring high-performance bandwidth and IP resources. This instability impacted client satisfaction, particularly in sectors like gaming where fluctuating server loads and high latency were significant concerns. Cross-border enterprises also struggled with data transmission security and bandwidth reliability.

Solution

To overcome these challenges, Catixs partnered with RETN to enhance network services. RETN provided extensive IP Transit services across more than 20 European countries, allowing Catixs to quickly access niche markets. The implementation of DCI interconnection lines reduced transmission latency to 20-30ms, significantly improving gaming service quality.

In terms of technical support, RETN’s Network Operations Centre (NOC) excelled, providing monitoring of the network performance and predicting all potential issues and resolving them before they affected the services. The volume of technical support enquiries decreased significantly from an average of 12 per month to just 1-2, primarily for bandwidth adjustments. RETN provided 24/7 dedicated representatives who could respond to requests within 10 minutes, with complex issues resolved within 4 hours. Overall satisfaction reached 98 out of 100, contributing to improved network management capabilities for Catixs.

As a result of these initiatives, Catixs achieved significant benefits, including approximately $10,000 in annual savings on bandwidth waste and an increase in European clients from 2 to 10. During the collaboration, service availability in the European region reached 99.992%, while client satisfaction ratings improved from 3.2 to 4.8.
